Job Summary As a Senior Data Engineering Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating data-driven decision-making within Specialty Networks. Collaborating closely with the Real-World Evidence (RWE) team and Business Development stakeholders, you will design, build, and maintain analytical data assets and dashboards that drive strategic growth initiatives and insights generation. Your expertise in analytics technologies, including SQL, Python, and R, will be vital in creating scalable data solutions and delivering actionable insights. Responsibilities Collaborate with RWE and Business Development teams to comprehend analytical needs and translate business inquiries into scalable data solutions. Design, build, and maintain Analytical Data Bases (ADBs) utilizing SQL and Python to support RWE initiatives. Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities within specialty healthcare data. Support ad hoc and recurring analytical requests related to RWE studies, customer opportunities, and network growth. Work with data engineering, product, and analytics teams to enhance data availability and establish analytics best practices. Document data models, business logic, and dashboard definitions to promote transparency and facilitate reuse. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a data analyst or analytics role is advantageous. Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming large datasets is essential. Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar big data analytics platforms is preferred. Working knowledge of Python and/or R for data analysis is necessary. Ability to articulate complex analytical findings into clear business insights is important. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data quality are required. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are crucial. Experience in supporting Real-World Evidence (RWE), healthcare analytics, or life sciences data is a plus. Familiarity with healthcare and EMR data is highly preferred. Experience in a cloud-based data ecosystem (such as Azure or GCP) is beneficial. Experience in developing dashboards and visual analytics using BI Tools (like Tableau or PowerBI) is preferred. Knowledge of data modeling concepts and analytical best practices is preferred. Location: This position is remote, available to candidates across the United States. Applicants should be able to work during EST or CST business hours.
