Pharmacy Technician Specialist

As a Pharmacy Technician Specialist, you will contribute significantly to our mission of providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the health and wellness of our community. Key Responsibilities: Support our health and wellness initiatives enthusiastically. Adhere strictly to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and company policies. Maintain your current registration, certification, or license as mandated by your state. Assist the pharmacist with various tasks, respecting the limits of professional judgment. Deliver exceptional customer experiences through accurate data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing. Contribute to the training and coaching of clerks and fellow technicians to foster a collaborative team environment. Compound medications according to state regulations, ensuring safety and accuracy. Verify prescription information through thorough post-fill audits. Support non-dispensing services using various resources and platforms effectively. Conduct CLIA-waived screenings and additional health services permitted by state regulations. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety procedures to create a safe working environment. Report any illegal activities, including theft or fraud, to maintain integrity within the workplace. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, supporting our commitment to inclusion. Qualifications: Minimum: High School Diploma or GED. Age 18 or older. Aptitude for managing confidential information. Completion of national registration or certification. Desired: Previous experience in a similar pharmacy role. Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician is highly valued.
