Senior Estimation Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in our team, overseeing the creation of accurate takeoffs and cost estimates for large-scale projects in earthwork, aggregates, underground work, and paving. Primary Responsibilities Manage and track both internal and external projects and client opportunities, compiling a monthly pipeline report. Lead the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), which include: Estimating Project schedule submissions Collaboration with the Power Group Director of Operations on project plans Material procurement Oversee all project controls, including: Estimating Scheduling Project tracking and change management Development and management of project submittals Assist developers with invoice tracking through the Operations department Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management, along with relevant field experience. At least 15 years of experience in heavy civil estimating; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Significant expertise in earthwork and underground projects is crucial; knowledge in PCC paving and concrete is advantageous. Skills and Abilities Extensive knowledge of earthwork, underground drainage, sewer, watermain, and general roadway construction. Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities. Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. Proficient in Bid2Win or similar estimating software and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD is a plus. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
