Department/Unit: Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist - D4N Work Shift: Night Salary Range: $88,192.00 - $136,697.60 We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Medical Cardiology team. In this role, you will assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of our patients throughout their care journey, focusing on their progress towards discharge. You will play a key role in ensuring that competent and compassionate care is provided to our patients in various settings. Key Responsibilities: Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document care according to company policy and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions. Evaluate and assess patients' needs and responses to care. Make informed decisions in patient care management. Provide emergency care for various injuries and illnesses. Administer medications as prescribed. Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients. Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree). Current NYS Registered Nurse license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Experience in a nursing assistant role is preferred. Commitment to continuous education and professional development. Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply them in patient care. The Medical Cardiology unit is a 29-bed facility, including 1 private room, 13 semi-private rooms, and one 4-bedroom area. Our patients come from various sources, including the Emergency Department and Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and require telemetry monitoring after both minimally invasive and invasive procedures.
