Job Description Join our innovative team as a Senior Front-End Development Lead! In this influential role, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug cutting-edge web applications and services. You will focus on modern UI frameworks and advanced frontend architecture, leveraging JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Knockout.js to build scalable user interfaces while seamlessly integrating with backend microservices via RESTful APIs. As a vital member of our software engineering division, you will help shape and refine our engineering practices, coding standards, and UI development strategies. You will take ownership of application features from start to finish and collaborate closely with backend, platform, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments on Kubernetes-based infrastructures while managing data effectively with SQL relational databases and ORM frameworks. This role requires advanced technical and business acumen in both frontend and full-stack development. You will provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor fellow engineers, making a significant impact in our engineering community. Nice to have: Experience in crafting effective AI prompts and familiarity with Vector Databases for AI-driven features. Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on modern UI frameworks and web application development. Responsibilities: Own the frontend/UI architecture for large-scale, microservices-based applications. Define technical strategies, standards, and best practices for UI frameworks and component platforms. Lead the integration of UI with backend microservices and RESTful APIs. Collaborate with backend, platform, DevOps, and product leaders on technical architecture and roadmap decisions. Guide the development of scalable, resilient solutions on Kubernetes-based platforms. Review complex designs and code; tackle critical technical challenges across teams. Act as the technical authority for frontend and web platform engineering. Mentor senior engineers and promote technical excellence across the organization. Evaluate and spearhead the adoption of new technologies and tools. Contribute to AI-enabled experiences, such as prompt design and integration with vector databases, as a plus. Salary Range: The salary range for this position is between $96,800 and $223,400 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonus and equity.
