Job Description

Your Impact The Home Delivery Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of home delivery processes at Lowe's, focusing on accurate, timely, and high-quality order fulfillment. By facilitating coordination among internal teams, third-party logistics partners, and customers, this position directly contributes to customer satisfaction and brand loyalty through exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. What You Will Do Act as the main point of contact for both internal teams and external customer inquiries. Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve the in-home delivery experience. Selectively manage and resolve customer issues, including escalations and Executive Care cases. Oversee alerts, queues, and cases using order management systems to ensure prompt action. Recover potential lost revenue by managing Save the Sale opportunities effectively. Handle customer order changes and track special orders (SOS). Coordinate with stores, vendors, and distribution centers to maintain inventory integrity and ensure timely deliveries. Utilize multiple systems to keep accurate documentation, including order updates and delivery reschedules. Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to resolve customer and cargo-related claims. Input and manage claims such as property damage through the Lowe's claims portal. Ensure timely updates and resolutions of claims to build and maintain customer trust. Communicate effectively with Lowe's retail teams, supply chain nodes (e.g., RDC, BDC), and service providers. Develop and nurture strong relationships with Pro partners and vendors. Show adaptability in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Exhibit strong listening, communication, and documentation skills. Proficiently use Microsoft Office and other applications to support daily operations. Contribute to a culture that values continuous improvement and a customer-first mindset. Minimum Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in customer service or support roles. Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Work Experience Experience with inventory, processing returns, and vendor communication. Familiarity with logistics or home delivery operations. Schedule Requirements Various shift options are available from Monday to Sunday. Shifts include: 6 AM - 3 PM, 9 AM - 6 PM, and 12 PM - 9 PM.
