This role is ideal for someone who can operate independently in the field, take ownership of projects, and make sound decisions without constant supervision.You will be working directly in customers’ homes and businesses following water damage, mold issues, and other property losses. This is a hands-on role that requires technical skill, adaptability, and pride in doing things the right way. While training and support are provided, this is not an entry-level or helper position we are looking for someone who can step in, assess a situation, and get the job done.What You’ll DoIndependently perform water damage restoration and mold remediation work from start to finishExecute demolition and rebuild tasks including drywall removal and replacement, trim/molding, painting, and minor repairsInstall and monitor equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubberEvaluate job sites and adjust the work plan as conditions changeMaintain clean, organized job sites and a well-stocked, professional work vehicleCommunicate clearly with customers and team members about progress and next stepsAssist with other services as needed, such as carpet cleaning, insulation, or specialty projectsFollow work orders, safety procedures, and company standards while working independently or as part of a small crewWhat We’re Looking ForProven hands-on experience in restoration, construction, or a skilled tradeComfortable working alone in the field and taking the lead when requiredStrong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feetSolid working knowledge of:Drywall removal and installationBasic carpentry and trim workPainting and finishingPlumbing basics (including sump pump installation)Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks beyond a single specialtyProfessional, dependable, and detail-orientedTakes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfactionQualificationsIICRC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Previous restoration or relevant construction experience requiredHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing ladders, confined spaces, and working at heightsWillingness to travel locally and occasionally out of stateWhy This Role Is DifferentThis position is for someone who wants responsibility, autonomy, and variety in their work.
