We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Product Manager to lead our Security Platform Engineering team, guiding Coinbase towards becoming the most trusted crypto platform. In this role, you will confront significant challenges in crypto custody and security, focusing on key areas such as secrets management, risk management, insider threats, account takeovers, and regulatory compliance. By closely collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Operations, you will develop solutions that meet industry standards and set new benchmarks in crypto security technology, ultimately enhancing security and user experience for our customers. Our innovative security platforms have earned multiple patents for their revolutionary technology. What you'll be doing: Define and develop a comprehensive global security platform strategy for Coinbase. Oversee security platform products from inception to launch, ensuring successful outcomes. Stay abreast of advancements in onchain and security technologies to push our security platforms forward. Collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, and other teams to shape the product roadmap. Engage with client teams and customers to gather business requirements effectively. Establish and analyze metrics to guide product development efforts. Align teams to a unified vision and lead the execution toward achieving that vision. What we look for in you: 6+ years of experience in product management. Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Strong analytical abilities with the aptitude to prioritize and resolve complex problems. Experience with high levels of technical complexity across diverse products. Prior experience in software product management for platform products. A demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency and financial markets, aligning with Coinbase's mission. An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and rapidly adapt in complex domains. Nice to haves: Experience with security, privacy, and compliance products. Background in the crypto industry. This role requires comfort in collaborating with international colleagues and stakeholders across various time zones, necessitating flexibility in working hours to support timely communication and ensure global operations run smoothly, while maintaining high-performance standards.
