This influential role is critical in managing a team of senior claims professionals who oversee the most serious casualty and commercial auto claims across the nation, including those involving primary, excess, and umbrella coverages. As the AVP, you will leverage your extensive background in complex litigation management and severity control to provide strategic oversight for high-exposure claims. You will be responsible for nurturing and developing a talented team of senior claims examiners, ensuring they are equipped to navigate a high-stakes litigation environment. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of leadership experience in claims management, with a Juris Doctor (JD) preferred. You should be adept at fostering collaboration among legal, underwriting, and executive teams, and be prepared to handle claims that carry significant financial implications. The role offers a high degree of visibility and influence, making it essential for candidates to bring a strategic mindset and strong leadership capabilities to the table.
