Emergency Medical Paramedic

Join Our Team as a Paramedic! We are excited to announce an immediate full-time opportunity for a dedicated Paramedic. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment for full-time external new hires. Become a vital part of a team that is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality medical care. Compensation: $37.11 - $59.42 per hour Your Responsibilities: Assess each emergency call to determine the best response while adhering to advanced Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen systems, and IV fluids to provide critical care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing reassurance and clarity about the care being delivered. Lead the Paramedic team, managing on-scene situations and unit operations as necessary. Drive ambulances during 911 responses, ensuring safe and timely transport to medical facilities. Collaboratively work with allied health personnel and public safety teams to ensure a unified approach to patient care. Engage in community programs to promote AMR's mission and foster strong community relations. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Current CA State Paramedic License. Valid CA State Driver's License. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS. Driving record in compliance with company policy. Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test. Completion of ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800. Possess a CA Ambulance Driver's License and a Medical Examiner's Certificate. Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience in a healthcare setting.
