Welder - Structural Steel - Sanford Area, NC Pay: $22-$25/hour Shift: 1st Shift, Day Shift (Monday-Friday) Location: Sanford, NC area Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Industry: Structural Steel Fabrication Job Description We are hiring experienced Welders for a structural steel fabrication shop in the Sanford, NC area. This position focuses on structural building components using flux core welding as the primary process, with MIG and stick welding as needed. Work varies across a range of structural projects in a shop environment. Responsibilities Weld structural carbon steel components using flux core (FCAW), MIG, and stick processes Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Fit, tack, and assemble structural components to spec Maintain equipment and workspace to shop standards Work independently with minimal supervision Qualifications & RequirementsRequired: Flux core (FCAW) welding experience MIG and/or stick welding experience Blueprint reading ability and understanding of weld symbols Structural steel background Ability to pass a pre-employment weld test and drug screen Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various positions Preferred: Multi-process welding experience (FCAW + GMAW + SMAW) Experience in a fabrication shop environment EOE Thank you for your interest in iBoost Talent, we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and participate in the E-Verify eligibility confirmation program.
