Your Role Design and implement cloud-native services to efficiently provision and manage distributed infrastructure systems. Create serverless orchestration workflows utilizing AWS technologies like Lambda and Step Functions. Automate processes for provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and system teardown workflows. Develop reliable and fault-tolerant provisioning pipelines. Build REST services and APIs that facilitate platform orchestration workflows. Collaborate closely with platform, networking, and orchestration teams to ensure secure and scalable cloud deployments. Provide support for operational readiness, including troubleshooting provisioning and lifecycle issues. Your Team As a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer within the Platform Services team in the Vantage Core Platform Software organization, you will work on scalable cloud platform services dedicated to provisioning, lifecycle management, and runtime operations of Teradata's compute infrastructure across public cloud environments. Your contributions will be pivotal in: Automating cloud-native provisioning and lifecycle processes for distributed compute environments. Creating platform services for efficient orchestration, scaling, and configuration management. Implementing serverless automation frameworks for infrastructure workflows. Enabling reliable and secure connectivity for cloud-deployed compute systems. We are looking for a driven and skilled Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to help shape the future of provisioning and orchestration systems for Teradata Compute in enterprise cloud settings. This position focuses on designing and implementing automated services that support rapid provisioning, lifecycle management, and dependable operation of ephemeral compute resources. What You Bring to the Table A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, paired with 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience. Proficiency in programming. Expertise in building Jenkins pipelines, GitHub Actions, and similar CI/CD tools. Strong background in developing AWS serverless applications using Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge, and DynamoDB. Experience automating cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS SDKs, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, or cloud APIs. Outstanding troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in a fast-paced agile/Scrum development environment. Salary: 132900.00 - 166100.00 - 199300.00 Annually Your initial pay will be based on geographic location, internal equity, job-related expertise, and experience. Non-sales roles are eligible for annual incentives tied to company performance.
