Job Description Customer Experience Join our dedicated team in providing exceptional customer service! Engage and assist customers as you help them navigate products and services, ensuring their needs are met. Promote best practices in customer service, and develop lasting relationships with our most valued customers. Operations Work under the guidance of a pharmacist to assist in various pharmacy operations. Ensure adherence to legal and company standards while efficiently processing prescriptions, entering patient and drug information, and verifying medication safety. Be proactive in contributing to inventory management and pharmacy workflow. You will: Report any prescription errors to the pharmacist. Handle sales transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash management. Assist in resolving customer issues and manage phone inquiries that do not require pharmacist attention. Participate in inventory management activities such as ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals. Support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist by analyzing pharmacy performance data and seeking improvement opportunities. Engage with the local medical community to foster relationships with healthcare providers. Ensure the pharmacy department is well-maintained and fully stocked. Mentor other pharmacy staff to improve efficiency. Training & Personal Development Stay current with industry standards by maintaining your PTCB or ExCPT certification. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy practices. External Basic Qualifications - Must possess PTCB or ExCPT certification. - One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital environment. - Fluency in English is required. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. - Willingness to obtain immunization certification within the first 90 days of employment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Walgreens is a plus. - Basic math skills for accurate medication preparation. - Proficient with basic computer operations. - Knowledge of inventory control processes.
