Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Roadway Construction Project Supervisor, where you will have the opportunity to lead exciting roadway construction, sitework/excavation, and underground utilities projects. As a key player, you will be responsible for steering all phases of these projects to ensure timely completion, adherence to budgets, and compliance with stringent quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Project Management: Effectively plan, execute, and finalize projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for roadway, sitework, and utility installations (water, sewer, stormwater). Coordination: Lead and direct project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and field personnel, to successfully achieve project goals. Financial Oversight: Monitor project expenses, prepare budgets, and handle change orders to safeguard profitability. Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work adheres to plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Safety Leadership: Champion OSHA safety protocols by conducting safety meetings and audits, ensuring a safe work environment. Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving any issues that arise. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address delays or disputes as they come up. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records, including progress reports, submittals, and closeout documentation. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within roadway construction, sitework, or underground utilities. Skills: Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., HCSS Heavy Job, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore); must exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills. Knowledge: Familiarity with asphalt paving, grading, drainage, and utility systems is essential; experience with DOT or municipal projects is a plus.
