The Safety and Security Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the safeguarding of employees, visitors, contractors, patients, and all properties of PPMW, while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular patrols of the Health Center and its surrounding areas to identify potential threats, unauthorized individuals or vehicles, suspicious items, and any property damage. Welcome all visitors, assist them with their sign-in process using the EIO Board (Visitor Management System), issue Visitor Badges, and guide or escort them to their destinations. Implement security access control measures by distributing facility access badges to authorized individuals and utilizing the Security Access Control System for identity verification. Respond promptly to incidents during shifts, ensuring timely actions, accurate report completion, and necessary notifications to relevant parties. Maintain constant surveillance through building security cameras and monitors throughout the premises. Assist in emergency situations, such as evacuations and fire alarms, ensuring the safety of all individuals present. Keep the reception area organized and welcoming during all shifts. Prepare precise and detailed incident reports documenting unusual activities and their resolutions, and communicate with the Facilities and Security Supervisor as required. Monitor visitor movements to verify that all individuals entering the facility are authorized. Foster positive public relations through courteous and professional interactions with PPMW staff and their guests. Consistently uphold and enforce building policies and procedures. Participate in necessary training programs and orientations to enhance skill development. Take on additional security, customer service, or support responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military, or customer service is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to and from work and other PPMW sites. Moderate proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications is preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform extensive tasks including walking, pushing, and bending. The salary ranges from $21 to $26 an hour. We may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with various stages of the hiring process, including application reviews and response assessments.
