Details Hospital ICU setting serving a critical care patient population Standard patient ratio of 1:2, which may flex to 1:3 Nurses are responsible for all lab draws, EKGs, and line starts Equipment includes Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA Pumps, Servo I Ventilators, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis Machines, Edwards Lifesciences Cardiac Monitors, Medtronic EVD Management Systems, Arctic Sun TMS, GE Monitors, Hill-Rom Beds, Pyxis Medication Stations, and Veratron Bladder Scanners Epic EMR experience required Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule No on-call responsibilities Floating required to all ICUs and occasionally to the ED or PACU to care for ICU patients; may also float to MS/PCU units with a 1:4 patient ratio Requirements Active LA or compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; CVICU experience highly preferred Impella experience required CRRT/NXStage experience required Epic EMR experience required Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained Must know your N95 mask size prior to starting Additional Information CPI certification can be obtained at the facility for a $100 fee Nurses may care for COVID-19 and other isolation patients and must be prepared to follow applicable isolation protocols RTO is limited to 5 days for the duration of the contract Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-681662.
