Automotive Parts Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:HOURS OF POSITION 8:00AM-5:00PMREPORT TO WHOLESALE MANAGER (DEAN)MUST REPORT TO FIRST CLIENT SITE NO LATER THAN 8:30AM AND LAST STOP NO LATER THAN 4:00PMYOU MUST HAVE ALL TOOLS READY FOR EACH BUSINESS DAY Laptop and Laptop chargerCell phone and chargerBusiness cardsFliers and Promo ItemsGriffin vehicles fueled and ready for the dayMust log into OPS TRAX delivery management program before starting routeHave ready your routes for the day Identify and establish contact with potential customersSchedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customersDevelop and maintain relationships with our existing customersProficient in OE Connection, Repair Link, Earn Power and any other programs that are availableBe knowledgeable with CDK “parts document archiving”Need to be expert in warranties, products, policies, and proceduresAttend industry trade shows to learn about new products and or software Engage with existing clients and prospects Ability to work with a team to accomplish sales and customer goalsExceptional communication skills-via phone and emailsWork with our Parts Managers and counter part employees to better assist our customersDevelop Effective Sales StrategiesEducate and Sell our products and servicesImplement Marketing Strategies to target a specific regions or demographic Stay up to date on product lines, promotions, and pricing strategiesSet up customers on online ordering platforms and provide ordering supportCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of parts orders Participate in sales blitz with our Reps and Manufactures RepsMonitor competitor activitiesUnderstand the industry and trends Maintain and update sale lead recordsAssist our customers in resolving customer complaintsMust document in PSX dailyHave weekly OSR callsGenerate and submit sales reports to managementMust collect Business Cards from clients you visitAny other duties that are applicable to your positionRequirements for Outside Sales Rep: Experience required.Bilingual a plus!Must bring a high level of enthusiasm, energy and desire to be successfulAbility to connect with customers to build and maintain lasting relationshipsValid, current driver's license Griffin Automotive Group, an Equal Opportunity Employer.
