Cloud Security Engineer

DescriptionDepartment: Technology & InfrastructureCloud Security Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cloud-native environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and wants to help shape the future of cloud strategy. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions that support our mission and long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCPAutomate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templatesMonitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and reliabilityImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development teamsEnsure security and compliance across cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and network controlsTroubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in production and development environmentsCollaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver cloud-based solutionsDocument architecture, processes, and best practicesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar roleHands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCPStrong understanding of networking, Linux/Windows systems, and cloud security principlesProficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)SkillsCloud, Aws, Azure, Automation, Architecture, InfrastructureTop Skills DetailsCloud,Aws,AzureAdditional Skills & QualificationsWe are looking for someone with Azure and AWS - they run a hybrid environment.Experience LevelExpert LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Rocklin, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
