Internship Program Details:Infinite Electronics is offering students the opportunity to participate in our new summer internship program! Interns can expect to be provided with meaningful, hands-on work experience across various departments within our organization. Participants in the program can expect to learn, contribute, engage across the business. Participants will also engage in professional development networking events and attend guest speaker events providing exposure to leaders across the organization. Interns are expected to complete and present a meaningful, business-aligned project to senior leadership at the end of the program.The 12-week internship program starts May 11, 2026, and participants must be able to work on-site and complete the entirety of the duration of the program to be considered. Interns will be compensated for their participation in the summer internship program.Applicants do not need formal work experience. This role is designed for students looking to grow, learn, and apply academic concepts in a practical environment.Position Description:The Summer Logistics & Warehouse Operations Intern will partner primarily with the shipping team to evaluate current workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements that increase throughput, reduce errors, and improve overall line efficiency. This role will also support warehouse operations by assisting with tasks such as shipping, receiving, picking, packing, sorting, and labeling. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a logistics environment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Interns will not operate motorized equipment or perform tasks that require lifting more than 25 lbs.General Duties and Responsibilities: Assist and learn day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory, pick and pack, inventory organization, and restocking. Support project tasks as outlined in the internship project plan to improve the end-to-end shipping process and provide recommendations by the end of the program. Collect, organize, or analyze information to support project goals. Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings. Prepare updates, summaries, or presentations with guidance from your manager. Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas. Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Work Schedule & Environment Requirements: Must be available to work 30 hours per week (6-hour shifts + 30-minute lunch) Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 12 PM-6:30 PM preferred – some flexibility on start time is available and can be discussed further. Must have reliable transportation to commute on-site to the Lewisville, TX office. Must be able to wear closed-toed or preferably steel-toed shoes on the worksite and for the final interview. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Current student in a 2- or 4-year degree program. Expected graduation date between December 2026-May 2027. Basic computer and math skills. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and task-oriented mindset. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential. Strong analytical skills. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Currently in a college or university program focused on supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations. Nice to Have: obtained or obtaining Lean Six Sigma Certification. Have a learning mindset and take initiative. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
