We strive for excellence in manufacturing providing the best quality products to our customers and want you to help make it happen!Job Description:As a Paint Technician at Caterpillar - North Little Rock you will be part of a dedicated team in the painting of Motor Grader and Medium Wheel Loader products that help our customers build a better world! Inside the 725,000 square-foot air-conditioned facility you will work with a team of painters and manufacturing engineers to complete daily build requirements. As a Paint team member, perform a wide area of operations in support of the liquid and powder value streams. These processes include inventory management, paint application, paint systems maintenance, project management, and process improvement.Pay Rate and Schedule: Position includes a wage of $25.45/hour and a comprehensive benefit program Openings available on 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm . Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. Job Responsibilities could include: Change paint booth filters according to Filter Specifications Remove paint residues from Paint Booth surfaces (Floors, Walls, Ladder, Tracks) Lead process feedback and improvement ideas through Continuous Improvement Cards. Conduct Noninvasive Maintenance Operation Verifying clamps are secure Verifying Booth floor works correctly after cleaning Verifying Sawhorses work correctly after cleaning Removing and Replacing Floor grating Replace Film over HMI screenings Replace filters on fans Record Paint LUX Readings Remove Paint Overspray from Paint Booths Clean Powder Paint EV Room Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent 5+ Years Experience in Manufacturing, Liquid and/or Powder Paint Systems and/or related technical experience Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 products Top Candidates Will Also Have: Technical degree Paint Certification Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and processes Extensive knowledge in industrial paint systems Experience with SAP Experience with Guided Buy Perks and Extra Details: Overtime is available, based on business need.
