This position is based in anambulatory infusion centerproviding specialized infusion therapies to adult and geriatric patients.Schedule:Day Shift: 5x8 hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)No weekends, no holidays, and no on-callPatient Population:Adult and geriatric patientsDiagnoses may include MS, GI disorders, neurological conditions, transplant-related care, and obstetric casesClinical Skills & Responsibilities:Administration of infusion therapies and IV medicationsIron infusions, fluids, antibiotics, and corticosteroidsAdministration of specialty medications for MS, GI, Neurology, and Transplant patientsBlood and blood product administrationCentral line care, PICC line care, and port access/managementCentral line blood drawsInfusion pump management and IV hydration therapyInitiating and maintaining peripheral IV accessAdditional Responsibilities:Monitoring and managing infusion reactions and emergency treatment if neededFollowing isolation precautions and PPE protocolsMay float between outpatient clinics if neededAbout United Health Care Staffing, Inc.
