The RN will provide high-quality patient care while floating across multiple units includingMed/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatricsas needed. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care following established nursing standards and hospital policies.Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.Float to various units includingMedical-Surgical, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department (ED), and Pediatricsas required.Deliver specialized care for patients requiringcardiac and coronary monitoring .Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate documentation usingMEDITECHelectronic medical records.Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and recovery.Identify safety risks and implement proper patient handling techniques, including use of lifting equipment.Demonstrate strong leadership by prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and occasionally serving asCharge Nursewhen required.About United Health Care Staffing, Inc.
