Leasing Administrator For Housing And Leasing The Leasing Administrator for Housing and Leasing is the primary contact for housing and leasing information to Harvard University affiliates. These efforts will enhance HUH's ability to meet the University's goal to support vibrant campus neighborhoods, strong financial stewardship, cutting-edge sustainability measures, and flexibility to meet future university needs. The Leasing Administrator reports to the Assistant Director of Housing and Leasing Services for Harvard University Housing. Job-Specific Responsibilities: Responding timely and accurately to customer and resident inquiries regarding housing and leasing information by telephone, email and in-person. Follow-up and daily conflict resolution with applicants and residents as necessary via email, phone, and walk-in communication. Review, follow-up if necessary, verify, and process HUH resident sublet requests. Approve sublet postings on HUH off campus housing website. Investigate websites to ensure HUH sublet postings are in accordance with policy and tracks unauthorized advertisements. Log, copy, and file leases received by applicants. Archive lease documents as needed. Assist Leasing Coordinators and Application and Leasing Coordinator during high work volume periods. Participate in projects and train new employee/s or colleagues. Assist in reviewing and revising Harvard University Housing Policies & Procedures. Participate in Harvard University School's admit days and open houses to promote Harvard University Housing. Participate in committee and subgroup cross collaboration meetings. Systems Support: Process and manage tenant accounts in Yardi leasing database. Process leasing related documents: Yardi (Voyager, Caf, SiteManager), DocuSign, etc. Other Support: Completes special projects as assigned. Performs related duties as required. Basic Qualifications: Must demonstrate strong communication (phone, written, in-person) and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused operations environment with multiple projects and priorities. Must be able to multi-task and perform duties with a high degree of speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Must be proficient in writing business correspondence and have strong computer skills. Must have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with multiple staff members. Must be able to handle complex and confidential materials and information. Customer service orientation, a bias for action, a high level of integrity, sensitivity to various interests, diplomacy, advocacy, self-confidence, and resourcefulness are all desired competencies. Additional Qualifications and Skills: A college degree strongly preferred, or an equivalent of education plus relevant experience. Minimum three to five years preferred of real estate or related experience; knowledge of higher education housing a plus. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University's Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment. Salary Grade and Ranges: This position is salary grade level 053.
