1st Shift Furnace Loader

Key Responsibilities Loading/Unloading: Load and unload metal parts, trays, or boats into continuous belt or batch furnaces. Process Control: May be required to monitor and adjust furnace temperature, conveyor speed, and atmosphere settings. Inspection: Perform visual inspections and quality checks, such as hardness or density testing, to ensure specs are met. Material Handling: Use pallet jack, or manual labor to move materials in a fast-paced, high-heat environment. Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols (PPE), maintain equipment, and clean work areas. Requirements Experience: Previous industrial, furnace, or machine operator experience is often preferred. Skills: Ability to read and understand operating procedures, perform basic math, and understand process documentation. Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
