Full-Time Customer Service Representative/Receptionist At Sherwood Bedding, we take every aspect of our business seriously, from the quality of materials in our mattresses to the customer service we provide long after the sale. We are looking for a Full-Time Customer Service Representative/Receptionist to join our Walton, KY team. In this role you will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. Interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone as well as email writing proficiency are very important in this role. Job Duties Include: Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone and email Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk Enter customer orders received via email or fax Assist Director of Manufacturing with daily production scheduling Print law tags, prepare reports, and distribute same to production floor Process customer credit/debits following accepted SOPs on a daily basis Participation in annual Inventory and other projects as assigned Work closely with corporate accounting and sales to ensure best possible customer service Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Requirements Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers) Professional attitude and appearance Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service oriented Bilingual (English Primary/Spanish Secondary) Preferred Pay: Minimum $18 per hour based on experience Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision/Life insurance Paid time off 401K Rocket Lawyer Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Customer service: 2 years Work Location: In person
