Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel ICU / Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) Mission Hills, CA ⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week) Key Responsibilities Provide critical care nursing support in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias using telemetry Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (non-titration) Care for patients with respiratory support including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and tracheostomies Perform blood product administration and IV therapy Manage PICC lines, peripheral IVs, and phlebotomy tasks Provide care for patients with sepsis, MI, stroke, CHF, trauma, and post-cardiac procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Requirements True ICU RN experience required (PCU float experience alone not accepted) Minimum 1 year ICU experience Active RN License BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NIHSS Certification LA City Fire Card About Hanker Systems Inc Healthcare staffing at Hanker Systems Inc is focused on delivering the right talent to support quality patient care.
