How you can make a difference As a Director of APPs, you will provide clinical and professional leadership to APPs in the respective market of the medical group. You will work closely with the Senior Medical Directors and in close collaboration with Operations. At Village Medical you ll work with an integrated care team to provide the best in primary care. Some of your primary responsibilities will include: Clinical Leadership Duties: Driving the engagement, professional development, and performance of APPs Assist in the onboarding process of new providers including: EMR utilization Workflow implementation Assigning mentors to all APP new-hires Support APPs by providing education for appropriate EMR documentation and billing Assist with provider education, and audit charts associated with risk adjustment coding and HEDIS Quality measures in collaboration with the RBO team Assist with outreach events to provide education for active and prospective patients Manage, guide, and coach the performance of APPs. Communicate concerns or accomplishments in collaboration with Operations and/or Medical Directors Lead APP quarterly reviews and ensure the team is aware of expectations and how they are being evaluated Continue clinical practice providing high quality care to patients Serve as a role model to peers and provide a positive experience for patients, other providers, and support staff Participate in the interview process and assessment of APP candidates who are interested in employment opportunities with VMD Participate on enterprise APP Council and market leadership councils Exceptional patient care: Offering personal, professional care directly to patients Maintaining accurate and current patient records Practicing in a modern setting with autonomy and support Maintain clinical privileges and duties part-time while providing leadership. Clinical and administrative time allocation to be determined by Regional CMO Medical expertise: Provide the highest quality, comprehensive primary care to patients Participate in team-based care, innovative care initiatives to get the best outcomes for patients Professional collaboration: Working in conjunction with other clinical providers, APPs, and physicians to deliver premium care in a 100% outpatient primary care clinic Receive clinical support for your patients from highly trained staff Could this be you? Experience to drive change Required national Certification and state licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Preferred minimum of 10 years of experience in a Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider role preferred Previous supervision or leadership experience preferred Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting Current National Certification and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification required Ability to practice independently Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, highly organized and ability to mentor and motivate others Knowledge of HCC preferred Working knowledge of EMR systems, clinic flow and documentation standards Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others to drive change Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude and calm demeanor Ability to manage conflict while enforcing diplomacy, sensitivity, and directness Ability to work 40+ hours per week and travel between clinics as needed How you will thrive In addition to outstanding earning potential with financial incentives, CME allowance, a 401k program with company match, bonus and a valuable health benefits package, Revere Medical offers paid parental leave, pre-tax savings on commuter expenses, and generous allowed time off.
