Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Hematology Oncology Summary:Join a dedicated team in Santa Cruz, California, where a state-of-the-art Hematology/Oncology clinic offers compassionate care in a modern environment. The clinic features a Premier Infusion Center designed to enhance patient safety and comfort, with 15 private bays. This full-time position offers the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Job Responsibilities: Provide expert hematology and oncology care in an ambulatory setting. Utilize the Solari Infusion Center for modern treatment delivery. Collaborate with navigators and social workers to support patients from diagnosis through survivorship. Manage a daily patient load of 16-18 patients. Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and weekly tumor boards. Access comprehensive care resources, including clinical trials and survivorship programs. Qualifications: Board Certified in Medical Oncology (highly preferred) or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology; Board Eligible candidates will be considered. Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program. Active California license. Active BLS certification (preferred, can be processed during credentialing). Active DEA registration. Clean malpractice and background history. License and Certification Requirements: Must hold an active California state license.
