Locum-to-Perm Opportunity - Lafayette, Louisiana - NP Hematology/Oncology Compact License Accepted A high-volume Hematology/Oncology practice in Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a locum-to-permanent opportunity. This position will not convert to locums-only and is ideal for a provider comfortable managing complex oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Assignment Overview Start: ASAP - OngoingPosition Type: Locum-to-Perm onlyFacility will accept multiple providers Schedule Typical clinic hours: 8:00am-4:30/5:00pmFridays typically end by 3:30pmSaturday call rotation: Approximately once every 3 monthsHours: 8:00am-12:00pm Practice Setting Outpatient clinic with infusion servicesInfusion suite:Primary location: 74 infusion chairsSecondary location: 12 infusion chairsNo inpatient rounding Patient & Practice Details High-volume practice with complex patient populationNurse Practitioners manage a full panel of patientsSignificant care coordination requiredAverage patient volume: Approximately 10 patients per dayVisit types include treatment visits, follow-ups, and some new patient appointmentsMajority of patients have multiple co-morbidities Team Structure 1 full-time physician1 part-time physicianFully staffed model includes 2 NPs Requirements Board Certified - Required3-5 years of Hematology/Oncology experience - RequiredActive Louisiana license or Compact license - AcceptedBLS - RequiredChemotherapy certification for NPs - Required Facility Information EMR: Epic Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position?
