Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Employment Type: Full-Time Locations: Fort Mill, SC | Rock Hill, SC | Indian Land, SC Facility: 24-Hour Emergency Department Schedule & Shift Availability Rock Hill, SC: Day & Night Shifts Available Indian Land, SC: Day & Night Shifts Available Fort Mill, SC: Night Shift Available Typical schedules follow a 3x12 shift structure , depending on department needs. Compensation Pay Range: $28 – $41/hour (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: Available Shift Differential: Available Overtime: Available On-Call: Required Call Back: Available Position Summary Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for opportunities across emergency departments in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Indian Land, South Carolina . These roles provide high-quality, responsive patient care in fast-paced emergency department environments serving patients of all ages. The ER RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in critical and emergent situations while collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, safe, and effective treatment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Initiate and document individualized patient plans of care within required timeframes Provide direct patient care and clinical interventions across all patient populations Perform patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions in critical situations Respond rapidly to emergency situations and administer appropriate treatment Verify and reconcile physician orders, medication administration, and pre-operative documentation Administer medications and IV therapy in accordance with hospital policies and safety standards Monitor first-dose medications and assess patients for adverse reactions Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant patient care practices in alignment with hospital policies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record Support emergency department operations and assist with additional duties as needed Education, Licensure & Certification Required Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher Active Permanent Multi-State Registered Nurse (RN) License in current state of residence Basic Life Support (BLS) – active at time of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required (may be completed during orientation) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required (may be completed during orientation) Preferred Certifications ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course CEN – Certified Emergency Nurse Experience Completion of EKG course or monitor experience required 1+ year of experience in acute care, emergency department, or critical care preferred Strong new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered Skills & Competencies Ability to function effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced emergency environments Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and patient assessment skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Knowledge of emergency protocols, medication administration, and patient safety standards Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Technology & Systems Experience with Cerner or Oracle electronic medical record systems preferred Comfortable using clinical documentation systems and patient monitoring technology Work Environment Hospital-based 24-hour emergency department Exposure to high-acuity and fast-paced patient care environments Opportunities for overtime, on-call shifts, and call-back coverage Standing, walking, and lifting may be required during patient care activities Why Work With Wheeler Staffing Partners Wheeler Staffing Partners connects healthcare professionals with high-quality career opportunities nationwide.
