Environmental Service Porter The Environmental Service Porter supports the Environmental Services Department by transporting materials, equipment, and waste throughout the hospital while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This role plays a vital part in hospital operations, infection prevention, and patient satisfaction by ensuring timely, safe, and efficient support services. Qualifications Experience: Prior porter, housekeeping, environmental services, or hospital support experience preferred Healthcare facility experience strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and proper waste handling Understanding of infection control principles preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina to perform duties throughout the shift Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, if applicable Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, push, and pull for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to maneuver carts and equipment throughout the hospital
