Patient Care Coordinator Seattle, Washington Position Summary The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Primary Care, Specialist and Walk in Clinic teams and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role is responsible for managing front office operations, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate and confidential patient records. On a very busy day usually a Tuesday we can check in up to 600 patients due to having so many providers working that day. The Patient Care Coordinator must have experience with EPIC. Responsibilities Front desk responsibilities. Manage patient check in and check out processes, including verifying insurance, collecting co pays, and obtaining required documentation Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with a professional and compassionate demeanor Working with our back office medical assistants for managing schedules Conduct patient outreach calls to schedule appointments, including preventive care visits and follow ups Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments while maintaining accurate records Meet outreach, scheduling, and preventive care quality targets Serve as a primary resource for resolving patient inquiries or concerns Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations Coordinate with clinical teams to support patient flow and operational efficiency Maintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support training and onboarding of new patient service staff Generate reports and assist with operational improvement projects Team & Culture: Collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on teamwork, efficiency, and delivering high-quality care. Shift Times: Shifts will vary. 6:45a- 3:15p, 7:30a-4pm, 8:30a-5pm Monday thru Friday.
