General Definition: Assists with waste and manure collection. Essential Job Functions: Immediately reports problems with tools, equipment, or work assignment directly to the supervisor or lead. Participates in meetings, training and other company-related activities as scheduled. Seeks out the assistance of a supervisor to address questions and concerns. Follows all safety policies and procedures in accordance with company standards. Follows all company policies and procedures, including departmental policies and TX Racing Commission rules. Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior. Education: High School Diploma or GED; and 1 years related experience and/or training; or combination. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to operate motorized a golf cart or gator. Must be familiar with working around heavy equipment and trucking operations Must be able to follow instruction Must be able to use hand tools Must be capable of reviewing and approving hoisting and rigging plans as required Preferred familiarity with intermodal container maintenance Preferred familiarity with compliance issues related to Waste Acceptance Criteria Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemicals/solvents material if proper safety procedures are not followed. Ability to carry several instruments/equipment or tools while walking extensively. Ability to work in confined areas, tanks, heat stress conditions, high noise and areas with chemical hazards. Training and Experience: 1 year work related experience and/or training; or combination. Licenses/Certifications/Other: Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions Texas Racing Commission License (TXRC) Class C driver license Physical Requirements: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
