Job Type Internship Description Location: Raleigh, NC (in-office) Commitment: 20 hours per week Internship Dates: May 25 - July 31, 2026 Role Overview: As a Creative Intern, you will support Indie's creative team in developing social-first content and campaign ideas for client brands. You'll gain exposure to the creative process from concept to execution-including brainstorming, content production, influencer research, and creative optimization. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media, digital culture, content creation, and visual storytelling, and excited to learn how creative ideas translate into effective marketing campaigns. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Content Development & Creative Support Ideate creative concepts for social media posts across a variety of client brands with different goals, audiences, and aesthetics Identify emerging social media and cultural trends and contribute ideas for content optimization Assist in creating social media content, primarily short-form video, graphics, and copy Help maintain visual and voice consistency across client brands Create presentation decks, concept mockups, and creative materials for internal and client use Assist with light video editing for Indie's podcast, Name Drop, including adding captions using tools like Opus.AI Content Production & Shoot Support Support the content producer with pre-production planning for monthly content shoots Assist during content shoot days with tasks such as prop setup, food prep, lighting setup, and set wrap Be present on set during photoshoots and collaborate with the producer during pre-planning and shoot execution Campaign & Influencer Support Build initial influencer and creator lists for marketing campaigns using social platforms and influencer tools Research creators who align with brand audiences and campaign goals Pull performance analytics from influencer platforms to support campaign reporting and casting documents Creative & Marketing Support Support brainstorming sessions and creative ideation for campaigns and social content Assist with competitive research and social media trend monitoring Provide ad hoc support to the creative team on additional projects and internal initiatives End-of-Summer Capstone Project As a culminating project, the intern will develop and present a hypothetical social-first creative campaign demonstrating key learnings from the internship. Key Skills & Competencies: Creative & Design Awareness - Strong eye for design, visual storytelling, and social-first content with familiarity in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Social Media Fluency - Comfortable using platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube with an understanding of brand voice and tone. Content Creation Skills - Ability to generate creative ideas, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and support basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.). Digital Marketing Basics - Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and key social media performance metrics (engagement rate, CTR, etc.). Communication & Collaboration - Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Who we're looking for: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Design, or a related field Passion for social media, digital marketing, and content creation Strong creative instincts and an eye for aesthetics Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Curious, collaborative, and excited to learn in a fast-paced agency environment Location: This role is based in Raleigh, NC. This is a paid internship ($20/hour) requiring a 20-hour weekly commitment, including three in-person days in our Raleigh office (Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM). Interns should also be available for Friday morning team meetings and occasional additional meetings (virtual or in person) as needed. Salary Description $20/hour
