We are seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President for Clinical Operations & Quality to lead and elevate clinical operations across our portfolio of communities. This executive leader will establish clinical standards, strengthen compliance programs, design quality initiatives, and mentor regional and community clinical leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality resident care. This role is ideal for a seasoned senior living clinical leader who thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment and is passionate about building systems that drive measurable outcomes. Position Summary The Vice President for Clinical Operations & Quality oversees, plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates all clinical operations for Silver Birch Living. This leader is responsible for: Leading enterprise-wide clinical initiatives Establishing policies, procedures, and standards of care Designing compliance and quality assurance programs Monitoring key clinical performance metrics Supporting community clinical leaders Aligning clinical excellence with operational strategy This position partners closely with Operations, Executive Leadership, and community teams to ensure regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and consistent standards of care across all locations. Travel up to 70% (including overnight travel) is required. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Strategy Lead and direct all clinical initiatives across Silver Birch communities Establish consistent clinical practices, systems, and processes Develop and implement enterprise-wide standards of care Develop new clinical programs aligned with organizational growth Quality & Compliance Develop, implement, and oversee the clinical compliance program Design and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program Monitor key performance metrics, including psychotropic usage, falls, UTIs, elopements, and other clinical indicators Ensure communities remain survey-ready and compliant with state regulations Training & Development Develop and implement in-house clinical training programs Mentor and support regional and community clinical leaders Establish best practices aligned with measurable care outcomes Operational & Financial Collaboration Recommend appropriate nursing staffing models based on resident acuity Support budget planning and financial performance related to clinical operations Serve as point person for clinical software systems, including EMAR platforms Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations leadership to drive resident satisfaction and quality outcomes What Success Looks Like Consistent, measurable improvement in clinical quality indicators Strong compliance outcomes across all communities Standardized clinical systems and processes Confident, capable regional and community clinical leaders Reduced clinical risk exposure High resident and family satisfaction Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Five (5) or more years of experience as a clinical leader in senior living, including regional leadership experience Bachelor's Degree preferred Licensure & Certifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Valid CPR, TB, and First Aid Certification Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance Required Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of residential care regulations across Silver Birch markets Experience supporting multiple communities in a regional or enterprise-level role Experience with EMAR systems Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to build strong internal and external partnerships Strong project management skills with ability to lead initiatives across multiple stages Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Customer-service oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems Why Join Silver Birch Living?
