If you are passionate about turning complex data into actionable insights and shaping global logistics performance, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.//n//n In this role, you will own capacity decisions across AMR distribution centers and transportation networks, using forecasting, scenario modeling, and operational analysis to improve service, cost, and throughput performance./n/nThe Central Logistics Analyst leads end-to-end capacity planning across AMR distribution centers and carrier networks, ensuring the right workforce, space, and transportation capacity are in place to meet demand. This role owns headcount modeling, volume forecasting, and transportation alignment to balance service, cost, and operational efficiency. In partnership with internal teams and external partners, you will evaluate BAU and NPI demand signals, analyze trends, and translate forecasts into actionable capacity plans. Using advanced analytics, you will develop robust forecasting models, scenario plans, and interactive dashboards to anticipate constraints and drive proactive decision-making./n/nThis role is also responsible for improving planning quality and speed through automation, process simplification, and standardized cadences. You will identify supply chain bottlenecks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate capacity outlooks, risks, and business impact clearly to senior leadership./nSuccess in this role requires strong analytical judgment, structured problem-solving, and the ability to turn complex data into clear operational decisions in a dynamic environment./n/nWhat You'll Solve:/nCapacity gaps caused by demand volatility, labor constraints, or carrier performance variation/nBAU and NPI planning conflicts that create bottlenecks across DC and transportation operations/nTradeoff decisions between service levels, throughput, and transportation cost/nForecast bias or weak demand signals that drive late escalations/nVariability across sites, partners, or processes that reduces network efficiency/nManual workflows that slow decision-making and reduce consistency/n/n/nWhat Success Looks Like (6-12 Months):/nBuilt a scalable cadence for BAU and NPI capacity reviews across DC and transportation partners/nImproved forecast and scenario planning quality, reducing reactive escalations and last-minute capacity gaps/nIdentified top network constraints and implemented measurable mitigation plans/nStandardized capacity dashboards and leading indicators used by operations and leadership for decision-making/nReduced manual efforts through automation and process improvements/n Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field /n5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, capacity planning, logistics operations, or a related analytical role in a high-volume, complex network/nDemonstrated ability to structure ambiguous operational problems, build analytical models, and translate outputs into decisions/nStrong experience in headcount modeling, volume forecasting, production/capacity planning, and transportation alignment/nExperience building forecasting models, scenario analyses, and dashboards that support proactive decision-making/nFluency with analytical tools such as SQL, Python or R, and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)/nStrong executive communication skills, including the ability to present assumptions, scenarios, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional partners Planning for both BAU and NPI demand in a dynamic supply chain environment./nCollaboration with 3PL partners, carriers, and internal stakeholders to optimize network performance./nAutomation, process improvement, and continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)./nInfluencing and driving strategic change in a fast-paced, matrix-ed organization./nComfortable diving deep into complex datasets to drive actionable decisions./nResilient and adaptable, thriving in ambiguity and high-pressure environments./nLeadership presence to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and deliver measurable impact./nMasters/MBA preferred/n
