BS Okay, MS Overqualified The Integrated Discovery and Bioprocess (IBD) department in Crop Health R&D atAgriscience plays a critical role in the discovery, development, and optimization of live microbial products and small molecule natural product active ingredients. We are seeking a Contract Research Associate for a 4 month contract term with the Microbial Genomics team within IDB at the Indianapolis Global Business Center as we grow our pipeline of sustainable products. This role will focus the collection of bacterial and fungal samples across various fermentation scales, extraction of nucleic acids and other metabolites, and execution of common laboratory analytical methods. Key Responsibilities: • Under supervision, perform extractions of DNA, RNA, and small molecule metabolites from diverse bacterial and fungal microbes • Ship nucleic acids and other materials in compliance with regulatory requirements • Execute common microbial genomics analytical methods, including spectrophotometry, PCR, digital PCR, and gel electrophoresis • Maintain accurate records and communicate with relevant stakeholders Required Qualifications: • Associate's Degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a molecular biology, microbiology, or genomics laboratory
