License: - N/A Certifications: - BLS and ACLS required. - Electric Physiology preferred. Must-Have: - High School Graduate or G.E.D. - An Associate's Degree or equivalent college hours in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science, and one year of full-time experience in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology is preferred. - A Baccalaureate degree in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science with six months of full-time experience in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology is also acceptable. - Graduate of an accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or a non-programmatically accredited program with a minimum of one year of specialty training and 800 clinical hours. Description: Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes vascular and interventional radiology studies, coronary stenting, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, atherectomies, peripheral angioplasty, carotid angiogram, iliac angiogram, renal angiogram, and triple lumen catheter placement. Perform lab administrative duties and manage supply inventory. The schedule includes 10-hour shifts, four days a week from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. On-call duties are required, with no weekends. There may be occasions where staying late is necessary to complete ongoing cases.
