Commercial Millwork EstimatorDivision 6 - Architectural Millwork Project Type: High-End Hospitality / Hotel Construction Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Millwork Estimator to support high-end hospitality and hotel construction projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate bids and cost estimates for architectural millwork packages including casework, wall panels, custom millwork features, and specialty woodwork. The estimator will review architectural drawings and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, coordinate vendor pricing, and develop competitive proposals for large-scale hospitality construction projects. This position works closely with project management, drafting, and production teams to ensure estimates align with project scope, fabrication capabilities, and installation requirements. Key Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents for hospitality construction projects Perform detailed takeoffs using Bluebeam Develop accurate cost estimates for architectural millwork packages Analyze project scope including: Custom millwork Casework Veneer panel systems Plastic laminate casework Reception desks and feature elements Guest room millwork packages Public space architectural woodwork Build and maintain estimating spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Prepare bid proposals and scope summaries Identify scope gaps, clarifications, and potential value engineering opportunities Coordinate with internal teams including drafting, project management, and production Track bid timelines and submission requirements Support project handoff to operations after award Preferred Experience Experience estimating commercial architectural millwork Familiarity with Division 6 specifications Experience estimating high-end hospitality or hotel projects Understanding of millwork materials including: Wood veneer Plastic laminate Solid surface Specialty finishes Custom architectural woodwork Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and millwork details Knowledge of commercial construction bidding processes Software Requirements Bluebeam Revu - required for quantity takeoffs and plan review Microsoft Excel - required for estimating and cost modeling Preferred but not required: AutoCAD Planswift On-Screen Takeoff Qualifications 3+ years estimating commercial millwork or Division 6 scope Strong understanding of commercial construction documents Ability to manage multiple bid deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities
