Estimator Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support the bidding and project planning process for commercial construction and waterproofing projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating with project managers and field teams to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate has strong construction estimating experience, understands construction documents, and can manage multiple bids while maintaining accuracy and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction and waterproofing projects Review plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and requirements Manage and track Invitations to Bid (ITB), Requests for Information (RFI), and proposal documentation Coordinate with project managers and field teams regarding scope, labor, and material requirements Track and estimate project changes and change orders Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and negotiate favorable costs Maintain organized documentation for all bids and estimating activities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or technical education preferred Experience 4-6 years of estimating experience in construction, waterproofing, or a related trade Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Skills Strong understanding of construction trades and terminology Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with estimating or integrated billing software preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We're Looking For Detail-oriented professional who can produce accurate estimates Strong communicator who works well with internal teams and clients Self-motivated individual able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Problem solver with strong decision-making and negotiation skills Apply for this position
