Get to Know Your Team: Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents patient care, including patient education, for all age groups, pediatric, adult and geriatric, peri-operative, and postoperative periods of the patient's surgical experience. Maintains a clean and safe environment, observe and enforces policies, procedures and practices of the Department of Surgical Services and the institution. Uses the installed computer systems to support and augment services. Requires flexible hours in order to staff the unit. Covers mandatory call with a 20-minute response time. The Registered Nurse may make decisions to delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications. Job Requirements: ADN or BSN Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care ACLS (within 30 days of hire) PALS (within 30 days of hire) Preferred Job Requirements: One (1) year in a surgical setting
