DescriptionAbout This Job: As a Human Resources Generalist, you are a key player in fostering a positive and productive work environment. You support employees and management across various HR functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your role is vital in implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develops, implements, and interprets HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements. Manages employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, promoting a fair and respectful workplace. Administers performance management processes, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and development plans, to drive employee growth and productivity. Maintains and updates the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring accurate employee data and generating reports for analysis and decision-making. Ensures compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks and maintaining ethical standards. Coordinates training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, supporting continuous improvement and career advancement. Facilitates conflict resolution between employees, promoting effective communication and problem-solving to maintain a harmonious work environment. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role. Proven experience in managing employee relations and conflict resolution. Experience with HRIS systems and reporting. Knowledge/Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR). Experience working in a healthcare or community mental health setting Physical Requirements/Work Conditions: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional travel may be required. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Work is typically performed in an office environment.
