Job Description

Job Title: Quote to Order Specialist Location-Type: Hybrid onsite in San Francisco Start Date: ASAP Duration: 1 Year Contract Compensation Range: $120/hr W2 This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Day-to-Day Responsibilities Validate contract data in Salesforce and the price sheet before handoff to Order Management (commercial terms, pricing, Org UUIDs, commit structures). Triage inbound order form redline requests - resolve in-scope edits directly and escalate out-of-scope items to Legal same-day. Review and approve quote creation, quote edits, and new Org UUID requests. Guide Account Executives through deal policy (unified discounts, ramp structures, approval paths) and support transitions of in-flight deals from legacy formats. Drive a historical contract data backfill initiative to bring legacy contracts up to the new validation standards. Track error and escalation patterns and surface insights to RevOps, Revenue Accounting, and Legal to improve upstream processes. Maintain process documentation to ensure operational consistency and scalability. Must-Have Requirements 3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Order Management, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations with ownership of data accuracy in a quote-to-cash workflow. Strong attention to detail Ability to review an order form alongside a Salesforce opportunity and quickly identify discrepancies. Clear and diplomatic communicator across sales, legal, and accounting stakeholders. Ability to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy, comfortable operating with tight SLAs and high precision standards. Comfortable navigating ambiguous or evolving processes and able to distinguish between unresolved decisions and broken workflows. Nice-to-Have Experience Hands-on experience with Salesforce, CPQ tools (ideally nue.io), Ironclad, DocuSign, or similar contract/quoting platforms. Exposure to consumption-based or usage-based pricing models (commits, ramps, drawdowns, true-ups). Experience at a high-growth SaaS or cloud company where processes evolved rapidly. Track record of managing order form or contract redlines independently without requiring legal review for every change. About the Role This organization's revenue is scaling rapidly, and the infrastructure that moves deals from quote to signed order form to provisioning needs to keep pace. The Quote-to-Order Operations Specialist owns a critical handoff point in the commercial pipeline - ensuring contract data is validated, accurate, and ready for downstream provisioning and billing systems. This role sits at the intersection of GTM, Revenue Operations, Revenue Accounting, and Legal, acting as the quality checkpoint that ensures what is sold matches what ultimately gets activated. Day-to-day work includes reviewing quotes and order forms for accuracy, triaging redline requests, validating Salesforce contract data, and supporting sales teams as deal policies evolve. You will also own a key operational initiative: bringing historical contract data up to the same standard that will be applied to all new deals moving forward. This is a highly operational role with real impact. Deal volume is increasing, SLAs are tight, and downstream systems rely on the accuracy of the data you validate. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys being the person who ensures everything is correct before it moves forward and thrives in cross-functional environments.
