Job Description Release Coordinator (Hybrid - Columbia, SC) The Release Coordinator ensures controlled and compliant implementation of changes across IT systems and services. This role focuses on risk mitigation, adherence to governance, and effective communication to maintain system stability and support organizational objectives. What you'll do Administer Change Management Processes Review, assess, and schedule change requests to ensure alignment with organizational standards and policies. Organize and lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to evaluate and approve changes. Monitor implementation of approved changes for timely execution and compliance. Conduct risk and impact analysis to identify potential disruptions and recommend mitigation strategies. Facilitate Collaboration and Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for all change-related activities. Ensure all required sign-offs and reviews are completed before deployment. Mentor application teams on change and release management policies and procedures. Ensure Compliance and Governance Verify that changes and releases meet organizational standards, security policies, and audit requirements. Produce and maintain reporting, metrics, and audit evidence for compliance reviews. Conduct audit testing and generate reports for controls monitored by the change management team. What you'll need Associate's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Demonstrated 1-3 years of experience using ServiceNow with the Change-Release module, building queries for audit reporting, maintaining current reports, creating or editing records, and attaching documentation. Foundational knowledge of change and release management concepts and how changes progress through review, approval, and deployment. Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity around expectations, next steps, and required approvals. Ability to manage multiple change requests, stay on schedule, and support timely coordination of deployments. Ability to use sound judgment when identifying missing information, potential conflicts, or inconsistencies in change records or approvals.
