Cloud Network Engineer

Cloud Network Engineer (Azure) We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure networking to support and enhance cloud-based network infrastructure. This role will focus on configuring, maintaining, and improving secure and resilient network connectivity within Azure environments while contributing to architecture discussions and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep networking fundamentals, hands-on Azure experience, and the ability to collaborate on both operational and architectural improvements. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain cloud networking infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. Configure and manage routing, firewalls, security rules, and network connectivity across cloud environments. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to design improvements and enhancements. Perform hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing network maintenance. Support network change activities and deployments, including occasional weekend implementation work when required. Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud networking. Core Technical Skills Microsoft Azure networking BGP routing Azure Firewalls Network Security Groups (NSGs) Load balancing VPN connectivity ExpressRoute Infrastructure automation using Terraform GitLab integration for infrastructure automation Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Aviatrix (multi-cloud networking platform) Palo Alto firewalls Web Application Firewalls (WAF) Azure security services Policy-as-code or cloud governance frameworks Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments Experience Targeting candidates with 7-10+ years of networking and infrastructure experience.
