Immediate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care contract opportunity with our LTC facility in Lincoln, NE. Pay: $48.33/hr - $1,740/week (Travel pay package) Local pay package available Work Schedule: 6:45pm - 7:15am (Nights) 3x12 - 36 hour weekly guarantee 2 weekends required every 6 weeks Contract Details: 13 weeks to start (with option to extend) Job Details Provide bedside care to patients and assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living Assist with wound care, catheter management, and other skilled nursing procedures Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following facility policies and state nursing regulations Document care provided and resident status accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and healthcare providers to develop and follow individualized care plans Educate residents and families about medications, treatments, and disease management Support residents' emotional well-being, providing compassionate care and meaningful interactions Supervise CNAs and other support staff, delegating tasks appropriately Recognize and report changes in patient condition to RNs and healthcare provider team Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions within the LPN scope of practice Qualifications Valid LPN License 1+ year of LPN experience working in a LTC/SNF required (must have 1 year experience worked in last 3 years) One year of long term care experience preferred
