Work Location: This position is OnsiteJob Description: We Are Seeking an experienced Data Scientist to analyze complex healthcare data and develop advanced reporting solutions that support organizational decision-making and program operations. This role will collaborate with data, business, and technology teams to perform data analysis, build scalable reporting tools, and generate insights from claims and clinical datasets. The Data Scientist will utilize modern analytics platforms and statistical methods to identify trends, improve data quality, and support reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders. The position also contributes to data strategy initiatives and promotes effective data usage across teams. Responsibilities: • Perform advanced analysis of healthcare datasets, including claims and clinical data, to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support operational and strategic decision-making. • Design and build scalable dashboards and organization-wide reporting solutions. • Provide technical expertise related to reporting tools, analytics platforms, and data analysis methods. • Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and develop reporting solutions. • Assist with the documentation and development of reports required for external reporting and regulatory entities. • Evaluate current reporting and analytics solutions and recommend improvements or new tools where appropriate. • Review analytical outputs and reports generated by external partners to ensure accuracy, sound methodology, and consistency. • Support data literacy initiatives by helping teams understand available data resources and potential use cases. • Contribute analytics expertise to ongoing projects and organizational initiatives. • Identify project opportunities, risks, and potential impacts across related systems or initiatives. • Prepare and deliver presentations or reports explaining analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences. • Manage workloads and timelines to ensure project milestones and reporting deadlines are met. Required Skills: • 7+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist supporting Information Technology projects. • 3+ years of experience working with Medicaid programs to develop organizational data strategies and improve data quality. • 3+ years of experience building reports and performing analysis using tools such as R (R Project for Statistical Computing), Microsoft Power BI, or similar analytics platforms. • 3+ years of experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop data solutions. • 3+ years of experience presenting technical information, training users, and communicating analytical results to diverse audiences. • 3+ years of experience managing multiple tasks and meeting project deadlines within IT or analytics projects. • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful insights and recommendations.Preferred Skills • 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data and Healthcare IT projects. • 3+ years of experience working with Medicaid programs or healthcare payer systems. • Experience analyzing large healthcare datasets including claims, clinical, or operational data. • Experience supporting healthcare analytics initiatives related to performance, compliance, or reporting.Available Benefits: • Medical Benefits (Platinum level plans available) • Work from home / Hybrid / Onsite options • PTO • Holiday Pay • VTO • 401K • Charitable Match • Training reimbursement About KēSTA I.T.:Our name says it all; KēSTA I.T.
