DescriptionDistribution Center Outbound Coordinator/SupervisorReports To: DC Manager Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Summary: The Outbound Coordinator/Supervisor is the backbone of Distribution Center. Leads a multi-disciplinary team to fulfill the daily responsibilities of the distribution center by overseeing the fulfillment of customer orders, including processing, picking, packing, and shipping. Through the leading of personnel, accomplishes work results by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, and counseling employees. Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. Complies with all OSHA and safety procedures. Compiles, records, and prepares reports on various warehouse activities, and assists in the overall management of the warehouse operations. Primary Responsibilities • Schedule/process/plan/monitor assembly orders to meet various timelines • Print and assign pick tickets to the team daily • Supervise outbound operation warehouse personnel to accomplish positive work results, establish priorities, and monitor progress toward Key Performance Indicator (KPI's) • Transfer orders for parts coming through the DC via geographic fulfillment • Check status, monitor, expedite, prioritize, and troubleshoot Past Due orders • Follow up on late transfer/purchase orders • Run metrics and reporting; track missed shipments • Support the efforts of other departments through prompt responsiveness to requests and inquiries; monitor and respond to emails/Teams accordingly • Support the creation and sustainment of processes and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and supporting continuous improvement • Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations • Performs other related duties as assigned Experience: • Experience with Epicor desired but not required • Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) systems • Working knowledge and proficiency using a computer and related Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint) • Maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness in a distribution environment • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently • Collaborating with other key departments • Supporting continuous improvement efforts Skills/Requirements • Ability to lead, problem solve, meet team goals • Well organized, detail oriented, and can multi-task efficiently • Able to work under pressure without becoming flustered • Ability to accomplish goals, maintain priorities, monitor work progress, report results • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Knowledge of Epicor a plus • Training in operating powered industrial equipment • Forklift certified, or ability to become certified Education: • Minimum high school diploma
