CNC Operator

Job DescriptionCNC Operator Heavy Fab Department | Full-Time | $19/hr We are looking for a Plasma Operator to join our team! This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC plasma machines to cut metal parts to specifications. Responsibilities: Read blueprints and set up machines to cut metal accurately Operate plasma equipment and transfer programs from PC to controller Load and position materials using hoists, cranes, or manually Inspect materials and finished parts for quality and accuracy Perform routine maintenance, replace consumable parts, and keep work areas clean Complete required paperwork and follow all safety procedures Requirements: Previous CNC or plasma cutting experience preferred (training may be provided) Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure) Forklift certification or ability to obtain Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Work Environment: Industrial shop with moving machinery and loud noise Exposure to heat, fumes, and gases - must follow all safety rules Why Work for Advance Services, Inc.
