Responsibilities Circularity & Regulatory Data Support (ESRS E5) Maintain and analyze circularity datasets (e.g., material composition, recycled content, renewable content, reuse, waste, and resource efficiency indicators). Support regulatory-aligned data preparation and reporting with emphasis on CSRD/ESRS E5, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability. Translate disclosure requirements and reporting definitions into data structures, calculations, and documented logic. Contribute to metric definitions, data dictionaries, and calculation methodology documentation for auditability and repeatability. Data Management & Data Quality Collect, clean, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources (internal systems, suppliers, product and packaging datasets, operational sources) working with a small team of data analysts, scientists, and product stewards. Perform data quality checks, variance analysis, and root-cause investigations to resolve anomalies, gaps, and inconsistencies. Help standardize and improve data pipelines and reporting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability over time. Analytics, Visualization & Insights (Excel + Power BI) Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based models (structured datasets, pivots, lookups, Power Query, robust validation practices). Build and enhance Power BI dashboards (data modeling, measures/DAX fundamentals, clear visuals, stakeholder-ready reporting). Synthesize findings into clear insights and recommendations, including written summaries and presentations tailored to stakeholder needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with sustainability, supply chain, procurement, product teams, finance, and IT/data stakeholders to align inputs, assumptions, and outputs. Support reporting cycles, internal reviews, and assurance/audit readiness activities (data requests, traceability, supporting evidence). Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the sustainability/circularity data community. Manage the work of other contract data analysts on the team. Education & Experience Recommended Bachelor's degree (minimum required) in Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain, or a closely related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience where applicable). Experience 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, sustainability/ESG analytics, reporting, or a related analytical role. Demonstrated familiarity with EU CSRD/ESRS, with emphasis on ESRS E5 topics, circularity metrics, and reporting concepts. Technical Skills Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data validation, structured data practices). Power BI proficiency (data modeling, dashboard development, measure creation / DAX basics). Strong capability in data cleaning, transformation, and working with large datasets from multiple sources. Core Competencies High attention to detail; strong analytical reasoning and structured problem solving. Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and concisely. Strong organization, prioritization, and ability to execute under reporting timelines. Collaboration skills in cross-functional, matrixed environments. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience supporting ESG disclosures, audit/assurance, or regulated reporting processes. Exposure to SQL, Python, or similar analytics tooling. Familiarity with additional sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, TCFD) beyond CSRD. What Success Looks Like Circularity reporting data is accurate, traceable, and ESRS E5-ready. Dashboards and analyses are trusted and routinely used for decisions and reporting. Data issues are identified early, investigated effectively, and resolved with durable fixes. Reporting becomes more repeatable and scalable through better structure and automation. Disclaimer • This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
